London is becoming a cycling city.

As we continue to expand London’s cycle network, the number of daily bike trips is soaring. Cycling has risen by more than 40% since 2019 to 1,500,000 trips every day.

I hate to fly because there's no solution to planes' global warming and none forthcoming.

But if you have family who live across the sea what do you do?

To see them I fly. I will at least take pictures out of the window. This shows in the distance the power grid near Incheon and Seoul, Korea.

This footbridge crosses a main road in central Taipei. The alternative is zebras at street level, waiting nearly two minutes for the lights. Out of a crowd, only two took the footbridge. I know why they built them (in Richmond too, where I live), but why do we hate them, and why didn't they know?

Expanding airports should not be a priority. More people want to see investment in rail. Help us tell the government not to expand airports!

I love France but... a charge of €49 to change your internet provider, apparently applicable to everyone, does not seem compatible with the idea of promoting competition.

If EU is not willing to abdicate its energy sovereignty, and keeps pushing for…

There are still 5 hard energy policy constraints that cannot be bypassed.

Ronnie and I remind you that core reality

We are ending the era of Russian fossil fuels in Europe for good!

We propose a gradual phase-out of Russian gas and oil imports, to be completed by the end of 2027.

This will end energy and economic risks, while ensuring stable, cleaner, and secure energy for all EU countries ↓

Why, Jan, do firms not do these cost effective things?
EU industry could cut energy use by 24%—saving 67 MTOE—by 2030, all cost-effectively. The potential is huge and the business case is clear.

Decarbonisation and energy security aren’t just possible—they’re smart moves for competitiveness.

Next step: turning this potential into real-world action.
