Yes it is but here, they will all be dialling in with claims about the Jimmy Barnes or Paul Kelly autobiographies! If the author has not been photographed naked in a car park in Tamworth wearing a turtle shell there’s no contest. I also have good words for @coseyfannitutti’s book!

Them's fightin' words. My unpopular opinion, which you clearly asked for, is in favour of Ray Davies' 'X-Ray' (The 'unauthorised' autobiography).

For our final unit session 'Sustaining Culture and Creativity in the Anthropocene', one of the student tasks was to produce a one page 'Do It Yourself Message in a Bottle' for the poor souls who (may) come after us. We have paintings, sculptures, collages. We are going to need a bigger bottle!

Graphic for The Journal of Beatles Studies. Teal background overlaid with a cut out of the Beatles in black and white that shows the band jumping in mid-air. 'The first journal to establish the Beatles as an object of academic research' in a blocky white font that sits below the image of the band and on top of an opaque white banner. Orange open padlock logo representing Open Access sits next to 'Available Open Access' in a slim white font . The Liverpool University press logo sits in the top left corner, it is white and features a minimalist swoosh that represents the Liver Bird, text below reads 'Liverpool University Press Sounded 1899'. Cover image of the journal with the same cut out of the band sits to the right, it has the same bright teal background and the journal's title is spelt out in bold blocky font in pale yellow and bright white with the image of the band jumping over the letters. www.liverpooluniversitypress.co.uk/r/rjbs. University of Liverpool logo in white featuring the university's shield with three Liver Birds and an open book in the centre.

Not having much interest in John's post FABS years, this proved to be engaging and instructive. Not sure I'm won by 50% of JL's music however. Great version of 'Don't Worry Kyoko' and a funny thread on obtaining live flies.https://youtu.be/oxagfYjeMV4?si=IohC4t-VfKneqccs

I felt that way about a piece of toast I ate that my wife had to leave behind when she went to her hairdressing appointment earlier - all is fleeting.
