If you'd asked me six months before this came out to imagine what collab would be the least likely thing I'd ever want to listen to ever, without missing a beat I'd have said, "The Sisters of Mercy produced by Jim Steinman". Then I heard this, and I can tell you I had to rethink a few things.

Can't help thinking she'd defect to Reform tomorrow if it wouldn't cost her what's left of her political credibility. I'm sure Truss must have contemplated it as well, but simply talking shit on the lucrative right-wing media grifter circuit doesn't require the same level of commitment.

Pity there's little likelihood his media fan club will press him on it. Local level is always where far-right nativists show how ill-equipped they are for the hard work of government. Not just in the US either. In the UK all the major media orgs & outlets, as well as govt & opposition comms and ministers alike, are still on Twitter where they're having their perceptions warped and taking that worldview with them into their day-to-day, along with everything that implies.

So much good stuff out there. Had a few of the o.g. Motown albums on vinyl since my 20s, but when I was working at Universal I made full use of the generous staff product allowance and grabbed all of 'em on CD. The Buddah years and beyond aren't short on gems either.
