Hi Jakob. Good questions. I think the intent is for 1.3 trillion overall, of which 300 million should be public and grants or highly concessional loans. The rest is presumed to come from private sector (inc commercial loans and ‘innovative’ sources)

Backsliding on mitigation commitments and weak, untransparent carbon trading rules will only make things harder. The LDC group is right to call this outcome a betrayal 3/4

And with no change to the complex system of multiple funds and countless intermediaries, I’m worried little of this inadequate amount will actually make it to the communities fighting for their survival 2/4
