Interested in hiking, backpacking, travel, AI, electric vehicles, technology, sustainable business and renewable energy. As far as travel goes, how do we do that sustainably and with respect for those that live in places everyone wants to go?
Agreed on this statistic and it is true, the problem is you can phrase this two ways:
1. The way you did.
2. Just so happened as unions went down, productivity went up at the same time. Thus Unions=bad.
It is important with the parasitic press of the right wing to think through comments completely.

What this boils down to is a fee hike to make our parks unaffordable, then in a year or two they can say "see, no one uses the parks. We should eliminate them and sell them off to commercial businesses so they can make money for the US. "

Actually not true. Most thru hikers (ie: PCT) use one pair to hike and one at night. Wash them at town stops. If you have the right material, such as wool, they are fine for long periods, like you are seeing on the Youtube.
