Yes, I like it and it seems very well thought out and built. It is quite expensive though so I'd argue it's probably not worth it for most hobbyists (I got it as a present).

My DIY solder fume extractor (brown box with spinning fans and switch set to on) that is powered by the iFixit FixHub through USB-C (visible on the right). The second USB-C port on the FixHub is powering the iFixit soldering iron that's lying on a silicone mat in front of the solder fume extractor.

The back of the fume extractor with the flexible tubing attached through velcros.

The tubing can be detached and stored away in the fume extractor box (being held in place by more velcros on the other side). This shot also shows the USB-C plug for 12V power input.

The airflow vents can be folded in on each other and held in place by more velcros making the whole fume extractor easily storable by decreasing its footprint.

A DIY solder fume extractor project in progress. The fume extractor is made from a box that has two holes with fans in them. Next to the upper fan is a button titled "LED" and two exposed wires (intended for an LED strip). Next to the lower fan is a flip switch titled "FAN" that is set to off.
In focus in the picture are a male and a female barrel jack connector end with the female one being completely DIYed and held together with hot glue.

The barrel jack ends are now connected, the FAN-switch set to on and the fans are spinning 🥳

The inside of the DIY solder fume extractor. It shows two fans (the upper one is already connected to the side of the box), two switches from the back, and a lot of messy wiring (soldered connections are covered by heatshrinks).

Das muss ein Weckruf an die Regierung sein: Klimaschutz darf nicht aufs Abstellgleis geraten - weder bei uns, noch in der EU!
Jedes Zehntelgrad macht einen Unterschied für Mio. Menschen auf unserem Planeten und kann entscheiden, ob ganze Landstriche bewohnbar bleiben oder nicht.

Heute vor 80 Jahren hat das NS-Regime kapituliert. Nach einem Weltkrieg mit 60 Mio Toten und dem Menschheitsverbrechen Shoa.
Warum nach den Erfahrungen des 19. und 20. Jh noch irgendwer glauben kann, Nationalismus, Rassismus und Extremismus wären eine super Idee, wird mir immer unbegreiflich sein.
