Putting aside the autocratic Gulf petrostate-ness of it all (and hoo buddy, a LOT to put aside there). Basically, 0 chance the quality of basketball here is any good because I would imagine even the more well off teams in this event don't have it in the budget for 3-4 days of acclimation/jet lag.

Pure fiction from this guy here about what was said to him. Apparently its wrong as somebody who has been unambiguously left leaning his entire adult life to call it out when people (like this dude) tweet untruths about the Players Era crowds/atmosphere.

Consensus 4-star/top 50 2026 recruit point guard Ikenna Alozie also committed to Cougar MBB this week! Originally from Nigeria and currently playing prep ball @ Dream City Christian in the Phoenix area. Chose the Coogs over other finalists Alabama and Grand Canyon.

Cougar WBB were never in doubt to win this one for the final 1.5 quarters, despite poor shooting from deep and 20+ turnovers… which I say not to knock the effort, but as a way of amplifying how much better this team will be later this season & clearly is than the previous few teams.

Obviously it didn't go so hot for Billy Napier at UF, but worth a reminder this was how well he did coaching an hour away from LSU's campus and they decided "Nah, let's go with a guy who's literally never coached south of the Mason Dixon line"

If you want an idea how big of a get Puiac was for UH. Puiac comes in w/a 9.84 UTR rating. UTR is a universal rating system from low level rec player to grand slam winners. Here's an example of a high-end national t25 A&M commit.
Essentially, UH is getting the equivalent of a US top 30 recruit.

A sight for sore eyes after many years of hit/miss OL play in the UH program. Through 7 games, the Coogs already have as many 200+ yard rushing performances (3) as they did all of last year.

Also per Joseph Duarte on the other site, an unchanged Monday depth chart for Texas Tech week. The more telling thing will be this week's required availability reports as we're back in Big 12 play.

Yeah man the fearless resistance warriors of the European Ryder Cup really stuck it to DJT, a man they all *certainly* wouldn’t hang out with and were they US citizens, enthusiastically support and vote for.
