Maddy has always taken my seat if I leave the room without her. The new habit she's gained is to stay in my seat when I return and stare at me with eyes full of trust and body mock exhausted. She has once successfully convinced me not to take my seat back. I foresee a problem in the near future.

My brain power and computer have not been working together for the past few days. I used to plug my phone into my computer via a USB and the phone would appear as a device. Now however my computer will only see my phone, despite it charging my phone, if I connect via windows.

🧵 Anyone else have trouble reading all the annual heartwarming stories? Stories of how person a can got donations and can now afford to achieve their dream? Those stories always leave me bitter.
We shouldn't be poor because we have to afford medications and doctors. Food should be available to all.

My brain just completely plotted a cozy fantasy novel AND I got all the notes down AND the notes make sense! I guess after my coffee I'm starting to type. Now I just need character names because only one of the main side characters came named in my mental plot.

🧵 I always love Samhain and Halloween. As a kid it was always a little rough though. At 9 I got diagnosed with T1 diabetes. Back then candy and chocolate were completely banned from me (doctor's rules). My parents got creative and made a deal with me that I loved. I would go trick or treating.

I needed the hope I got from my work this weekend. One of my pup friends needed to be rehomed, and yesterday I got her moved into her new home.
The pup in question is unbelievably sweet, but has been through a lot and therefore nervous and does not trust easily. She won't eat if worried.
