I'm currently burning some incense called 'Namaste' - today I learned you can get incense that smells of cannabis - we're having to tell tenants they can't use them - basically because the 'offenders' would use that as their 'get out of jail free' card - sorry, but it was only incense, honest! 🤣🤣

Some great news today - we've had a pay award approved - which is reasonable - and backdated to April, so a nice chunk in my pay for end of month, just in time for Xmas 😁🎉

I will never tire of having fresh eggs from my own chooks - plus I have learnt to make the best scrambled eggs ever - saw a Gordon Ramsay tip about cooking on low in 30sec spurts - beautifully creamy 😋😋

Anyone else here on Duolingo? At about 2am I ridiculously decided to attempt yet another new language (I've completed a couple and play around with a couple more) so there I was at silly o'clock getting my head around some Polish, as you do - can't think why I'm tired now 🤪

I've just started a book that I need to read for bookgoup on Tuesday - I delayed starting as it really didn't appeal to me - just 3 chapters in and I'm hooked - that's why stepping out of my reading comfort zone is so important - otherwise I'd miss some real gems

Another lunch out - I'm so lucky to have so many fab cafes on my doorstep - today I had paneer + potato curry, my friend had leek and potato soup - so full of flavour 😋😋

I went to a Cineworld Secret Screening tonight - it was The Creator - not one I would have chosen, but actually surprisingly good - took some getting into - excellent acting and nice to have some lesser-known actors

I'm on annual leave this week and if I'm honest, struggling to get motivated - lots I could do but just not doing them - hence my self-imposed café a day challenge - it will make me get out of the house daily, from which other things will spring - there's method to my madness 😁🤪
