Who is going to tell Boris Johnson that if he didn't like the "band of reasonable responses" test (which gives great latitude to managerial prerogative for employers) in unfair dismissal case law, he could've passed an amendment to Section 98(4) Employment Rights Act 1996 while Prime Minister?

It’s all so grubby.

You’d think Mandelson is rich enough to support his own boyfriend’s (now husband’s) study and lifestyle without holding the begging bowl out to Epstein. Same with Andrew & Sarah.
I’ve written this lengthy FT analysis overnight about the multiple multi-thousand pound Epstein payments to Mandelson’s husband

these particular paragraphs are worth reading slowly

The Japanese artist Shinji Nakaba is a master of creating skulls and other anatomical forms from pearls no larger than the end of a finger tip. Nakaba considers these works “wearable sculptures,” as each pearl takes the form of a ring, necklace, or pin.

Been seeing lots of "mille feuille" napa cabbage & sliced pork belly hotpots lately. Decided to improv using savoy cabbage in place of napa & minced pork instead of sliced pork belly! 😯 Also with ginger, daikon and mushrooms.
I "conceived" it, Pete made it happen! Came out very well!!

Not all friendships last for a lifetime, even ones that burn fierce and strong. It can be hard to accept when a friendship fades away (or harder still when it's an abrupt stop) but it's a normal facet of life.
Do cherish the longest friendships, but don't under-appreciate the transient ones either.

I don't think the Reform Party UK pre-action letter to Kemi Badenoch threatening legal action for the mental health slur against Suella Braverman in her defection complies with the Defamation Pre-Action Protocol. This is either incompetence or posturing.

The fact the party, rather than Braverman's own lawyers, have written this letter is interesting. The party failing to comply with procedural requirements suggests the letter is about political point scoring than expressing a genuine intention Braverman wishes to sue.

With this level of analysis it’s easy to see why the BBC invite Konstantin Vadimovich Kisin (Clifton College
University of Edinburgh (no degree)) (“Sunak is a brown Hindu“) onto Question Time.
