Why would any country's government take notice of Ryanair?

Oh brilliant! Thank you!

Can we prove this, please?

On the assumption that Sam is reacting to the Jenrick statement about Handsworth in Birmingham, it is a pretty mixed and multicultural place. Epic fail.
According to Birmingham city council, the ethnicity of Handsworth is 25% Pakistani, 23% Indian, 10% Bangladeshi, 16% Black African or Black Caribbean, 10% mixed or other ethnic group and 9% white.

Use only water or fresh air on tear gas or pepper spray.

No milk, vinegar, antacids, urine, etc. and especially not in eye.

Thank me later,

An actual expert

I could hardly believe it at the time. Don't know how he ever saw my post in the first place!

Why is he always talking everything in the UK down? I thought he was a patriot?

How does he continue to get away with spouting this utter tripe? Always attacking never praising. Most teachers I know work their backsides off to support the kids in their class, doing the most they can with fewer and fewer resources. They don't have the time or inclination to poison anyone's mind

2 hours once a week was the same. There were students in my class who put in extra sessions, but I couldn't make it. Then the council closed the whole adult education centre. 😭

Wasn't employing a slur. But the sonic landscape of SM started travelling in a similar direction to U2 in the mid 80s. And I say that having enjoyed the output of both bands in the 80s. Sorry if that disappoints, but they were a part of my 80s childhood.

Thank you so much Martin!

I didn't (and don't) have the strength in my wrists and hands for throwing. Sculpting is an underrated pottery skill. There were potters in my class who did extraordinary hand building and sculpting.

Enjoy it, Mieke, it is well deserved after your careful sculpting.

When I did the classes, the progress was so slow with the short weekly sessions, I found the unpredictability stressful. Starting over seemed like such a loss of precious time. But I don't regret giving it a go.

Wouldn't disagree they increasingly wanted to emulate U2.

Thing I just learned. “Lede” as in “bury the lede” is a deliberate misspelling of “lead”. It’s part of a lexicon of misspellings used for annotations by journalists and subs so that notes on copy are removed, rather than included in the body of the text by accident. Others include “dek” and “hed”.

The glaze on the steamer is simply perfect. Brilliant work.

I did pottery classes for a couple of years some time ago. I never got good. But it does mean I understand all the toil, unpredictability, and fear of what happens in the kiln.

You have tremendous patience and attention to detail. I have seen that beautiful pottery stove and accessories you made. 😍

That is just so beautifully crafted, all the details, and use of colour. Just gorgeous!
