On the one hand, this is the perfect end to an amazingly chaotic Budget process. On the other, it makes it much easier to cover than having to actually listen to the speech.
BREAKING The entire Budget has leaked early

- £22BN of headroom
- £26bn tax rises
- Freeze on tax thresholds
- Pay per mileage confirmed
- Changes to capital gains

Yes, HID headlights are very bright but the bigger problem is the proliferation of gargantuan vehicles with 5’+ hood heights so that if you’re driving a normal sized car their headlights are at your eye level rather than seat level like they’re supposed to be.

Just booked the most ridiculous hotel in Paris.

Can the government really complain that the population productivity is low when something as simple as adding a runway to Heathrow will have taken like 3 decades before it's even started.

Genuinely amazed how bad this country is at doing anything.

HS2, Heathrow runway, nuclear power stations...

I've always been very skeptical of menus calorie counts, but one oyster at 155kcal and six at 479kcal is just... Wrong.

The BA EDI-LCY flight is great and business class is absolutely worth the price differential given it gives you fast track security, lounge access, and a meal on board.

I bought a Scotland football jersey at the airport since they made it to the world cup for the first time since I was 7.

The lounge rum may have had an effect

Magnetic resonance people are so wild for terrible acronyms, you gotta wonder if the magnetic field does something to our brains.

London is one of my favourite cities on earth, and is objectively one of the best cities on earth.
A friend from US has been staying in London this week - sight-seeing, culture, bars and restaurants. Central London has been buzzing. It’s been great and I’ve been proud of it. So there

I know I'm preaching to the choir here but this was patently obvious at the time. And I don't mean it in a retrospective sense - there was robust and clear criticism of this from people who knew better consistently all the way bloody through. Frustrating
