Mixed feelings
1. Kent voted for Reform so the fools get what they wished
2. Let them carry on so others know what happens if you vote Reform
3. Yes very sorry for the impact Reform has on people who suffer as a result.
4. Is the Reform 'plan' to deliberately run the Council into even greater debt?
FFS❗️🤬🤬 This👇🏼makes my blood boil

Reform’s Kent County Council plans to spend £100K of tax money on Political Assistants

While slashing adult care impacting 18,800 vulnerable elderly, disabled & sick people

And raising council tax

They have a £60 million deficit & they want Political Assistants❗️
Council under fire for backing £100k pot for political assistants
Reform UK has defended a decision to fund the appointment of political assistants, which could cost taxpayers nearly £100,000 a year.

So, what you're saying is that the radar the country uses sucks?

That's less than reassuring.

They're using "national security" as a blanket excuse for getting rid of things they don't like.

Yep. All charges later dropped.

Somehow calling it GBeebies doesn't seem funny anymore. It's not the teletubbies, it's a far-right propaganda channel.

Now I understand. Trump's recent rambling performance was an attempt to copy the man he regards as a genius because he can ramble on for hours without any journalist daring to even think about criticising him. Welcome to the future as Trump models himself on his hero.
Putin has started his annual four-hour long end of year address. His aim: to show Russians everything is just fine despite a collapsing economy, failing infrastructure and rising prices.

It doesn't have to be this way.

I can confirm that as a teacher, this has been part of our curriculum in schools for years. The difference now being, that if the government don’t get the domestic abuse numbers down from this point, it will be, yet again, the teachers who get the blame.

Totally this!
I remain incredulous.
McSweeney only has one strategy: subversion, which Starmer and Co are dumb enough to deploy against Reform’s Tory rejects (the same ones that sank Prime Ministers and governments). Clearly, the Labour tactic of “Look! We can be awful too!” is a terrible optic and won’t win folk, so hell mend them.

1st it was Israel’s right to defend itself
Then it was war on Hamas despite IDF admitting 83% dead were Palestinian civilians.
Now despite the ceasefire genocide goes on.
