My kids have just asked me why people here (Portsmouth) have been queueing to see someone called Spud Man. Honestly, I'm clueless, and they haven't even seen half of the baked potato nonsense that is going on.

possibly an odd request, but (on behalf of my son) I'm seeking reassurance that the pizzabot that got crushed in Runaway Robot would have been fixed up afterwards? He's really focused on that character.

Don't usually like moaning about books, but just read Katabasis by RF Kuang. I went to Oxford, did a DPhil, was up for idea of phD as hell. But that was a bit shite.
Just so many bits of it that didn't work for me.

To balance with a positive: Before that, I read James by Percival Everitt. Loved it.

Back in Belfast. Tried some pizza from Flout, which I understand is quite popular. Early, no queue, it was alright. I think detroit type pizza is just not my favourite.
Some little tarts from Krumb bakery were fantastic though.

Find of the day in a local charity shop. I don't do so much #homebrew at the moment, but I'm tempted to try this chicken beer.
It feels like the next dubious health trend.

Listening to Bob Vylan and I'm getting adverts to work for Border Force. What is going on with my algorithm?

Not usually that keen on one sided games, but PSG last night made that fun. The energy and intensity was incredible.

Reading a time travel adventure book (Hunt for the Golden Scarab) with my son, and one of the bad guys seems to be an evil Erling Haaland.

I'm never unaware of penguins in this house.

Not sure why the Duolingo annual wrap up has quite so much owl bum. This was not the only incident.

With kids and other interests, I haven't played video games much for the last few years. Very much looking forward to the new Witcher game though.

Started watching Shane Meadow's Gallows Pole. There's quite a discrepancy between the psychedelic opening, Goat, stag men, and the rest of the show (so far).

I do actually remember him during his "biggest regret", visiting a (very nice) pub in Portsmouth to talk to a handful of people. He came across very well. Said interesting things about the party's confused media approach under Milliband.
