Yes, he’s a criminal who has committed dozens of impeachable offenses, but the system is SUPPOSED to provide us a method to get him out of office. It’s the complicit GOP that won’t end this nightmare.

Please promise to actually have consequences for all of this, unlike his first term!

Okay, finally! Here’s what I think about Die Hard 2…a thread:

“The scheme provides unconditional, regular payments to eligible artists and creative workers, allowing them to focus on their practice without the pressure of commercial viability.”

“A cost-benefit analysis by Alma Economics found that for every €1 invested, society receives €1.39 in return.”

Damn. This is amazing. £325 per week, paid monthly, for 3 years - and the result was a profit for the Irish economy:

Post from Threads user rodneyowl: "Ireland has declared the Basic Income for Artists scheme permanent. This will be officially announced in tomorrow’s budget. Details to follow. Congratulations to all who fought for it and the present and future artists of all sorts in Ireland. That includes me 👌We’re just comin to the end of a 3 year pilot scheme. It’s been a roaring success. For every €1 paid out to the 2000 participants, the government got €1.46 back. Can’t argue with that. Other countries are already taking note."

Healthcare is important, yes…but can you ALSO address the ongoing issue of sending troops into our own cities?
…or are you going to wait until he gets to Boston?

The main reason I’d want a self-driving car is so that I could drive somewhere and then not have to park. I’d send the car off to park itself. (I don’t care where…as long as it’s legal and free.) Then I can summon the car when I want to go home.

No more downtown parking!
No more airport parking!

Most of it I can live with...but this looks like they made a mistake and misaligned the icons...and also put some sort of blur filter on them for some reason.

Seriously, I can get you in touch with someone. Drop me a DM if you're up for a trip...

Twice this morning, I thought "I need to take out the recycling with the trash tonight."
That's tomorrow. Wednesday.

What's going on to make us think it's Wednesday?!

Don't forget that while the government is shut down, he's trying to send more troops into American cities.

You should go to LA and take a tour!

After the shutdown during the 1st Trump admin, Congress passed a law to guarantee back pay for furloughed workers.

That bill was signed into law by Donald Trump.

Workers will be paid.

This chaos is a distraction from Trump's failure to secure a deal to lower health care costs.

I hate how the new iOS 26 icons look in CarPlay.
This is so sloppy and ugly. It's not like Apple at all.
The icons are blurry and there's a little bit of white on the left edge.

I’ve had two TiVos over the last 23 years. I’ve actively hated the interface, but it’s been a fairly reliable box. I loved having a TiVo HD which let me use a cable card instead of a cable box. Still use it…and the lifetime subscription paid for itself long, long ago.

R.I.P the TiVo DVR (1999-2025)

The pioneer in digital video recording has officially ceased selling its DVR.

TiVo changed my life, and cloud DVRs will never match its precision and user-friendliness. It's the best piece of consumer electronics I've ever used.

There was once a company owned by About .com which had a site with some featured users on the home page. If you uploaded an image to your profile, it DID NOT resize it & DID NOT rename it. If you uploaded a giant image with the same name as one on the home page, you got THAT image on the home page!
