In your mind is C2PA unsalvageable? I'm a news photographer & I feel like there has to be something done to enable news organizations to differentiate their authentic images of real life from AI slop. If not, C2PA then what? It's taken six years to get to this point I don't think we can wait longer.

You need better friends. Ideally friends that understand technology and friends that don't attempt to have you charged with felonies.

AI video doesn't have to be perfect, just "good enough" to fool casual viewers who let their guard down. Think about the video of the rabbits bouncing on the trampoline, it suckered lots of people into sharing that AI slop.
As far as time, AI video is rapidly improving, evolving, Veo, Veo2, Sora...
