I just canceled my Disney+ and Hulu subscription, and cited ABC's decision to censor @jimmykimmel.com as the reason. Will resubscribe when ABC's parent company shows that they are willing to resist Trump's fascist regime

CPJ is actively investigating new online Israeli smear campaigns targeting a dozen Palestinian journalists — the same precursor to Israel's murder of Anas al-Sharif and five other journalists on August 10. The international community must act.🚨

I wrote a similar response to a similar argument in a libertarian law pub —just came out!

The arguments are well-trod by this point; my essay responds to a specific provocation.

Look: the structures for discourse are different now. Sensemaking changed. So: we adapt.

Be warned: Trump will likely use his war with Iran as a pretext to further suppress dissent at home.

We must resist his efforts to stifle freedom of speech, make warrantless searches and arrests of Americans, and put more military onto our streets.

Big news! Bravo to the all who stood up for the rights of photographer Anthony Orendorff, arrested Thursday by LAPD.

Still haven't seen video. But prosecutors rejecting charges suggests LAPD held him in jail for 4 days just to punish him for taking photos in public.
