We already have a few (about 6-700😀) generic producers in the UK, plus some HQ sites as well.
The UK has real buying power and did leverage it well - but Trump is pressuring the owners to sell in the US at a similar price to Europe - so, they push prices up for us.
Got to keep those profits up.

Well, we're already seeing that in local government. Incompetence, cuts, proposed tax increases, blame culture, wasteful spending, absenteeism & (of course) pay days for their mates.
Fartrage would resign within a year, get his knighthood & head back to the grift.

I've said before, the one role ripe for replacement by AI is CEO.
The position is hellishly expensive for it's returns, with decisions too often driven by short term personal gain not longer term company performance.
