🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♀️ if you specify “impersonating someone” it asks you to specify whom but then the search can’t find you (??) IDK man

Wow it’s really giving me Dreams To Reality (1997) vibes! Looks awesome!

What is thisssssssss??? How long has it BEEN there ????

I just recently learned that which part of a Google result you click produces a COMPLETELY different outcome. Apparently if you click the thumbnail it just opens an inline video player??? I apparently ONLY EVER click the text, I have never clicked the thumbnail.

Carrying over a tradition from Twitter.

NO leap second will be introduced at the end of December 2025.

A bonus thing you may or may not be able to notice (due to Bluesky's video compression) is that in my master shader I've also added period-accurate dithering. This is just for fun for now, but in the future this will likely be a setting you can enable/disable #polyzone

The actual goal of this piece of work was to implement vertex lighting, since I was getting uncomfortable with all my screenshots and videos having high-fidelity per-pixel lighting on everything. It was really breaking the immersion! #polyzone

This was a bit of an exercise in yak shaving as I needed to build some kind of material system so that I could control the inputs to a custom shader (so I could test the shader). #polyzone

The material editor lets you add overrides to the materials of a 3D model. You can override the material's colour and texture, as well as set an emission colour (which contributes to the material's own lighting), or configure a cubemap reflection.

Been a while since I posted about #polyzone! I was making progress, but then `Fantasy Life i` came out (whoops).
Last month I created a Material Editor, for styling meshes, customising textures, colours, reflections etc. You can also create "Shared Materials" and apply them to multiple models.

For comparison here are all the different data formats before / after posting. GIF potentially produces the cleanest image, but it completely hides all the pixel and dithering detail.
(Hopefully Bluesky does not compress these images lol)

720p@6Mbps for yucks.
June 24, 2025 at 11:58 PM
That actually wasn't half bad! This is 720p@1500kbps. MP4 by the way.
June 24, 2025 at 9:16 PM
Good morning, back ony my bullshit trying to find the perfect format for sharing video on Bluesky. Referencing some scuttlebutt, this is 720p@3Mbps, which I think will be too high a bitrate.
June 24, 2025 at 9:11 PM
And finally 4x scaled mp4 (this is a 20mb file for a 5 second video)
June 24, 2025 at 9:49 AM
Last tests of the evening. 2x scaled GIF:

Still very compressed. I have to give props to @bsky.app's backend for being able to compress and serve uploaded video in a matter of seconds! Finally we true the most cursed format… animated PNG. I ASSUME this will be re-encoded just like GIF
June 24, 2025 at 9:42 AM
Yep majorly compressed again, unsurprisingly! Now I offer the highest quality webm I can output (over 2mb per second 😂😂😂)
June 24, 2025 at 9:41 AM
Highest quality mp4 I can output (almost 1mb per second lol)
June 24, 2025 at 9:40 AM
High-quality GIF test 👀 Testing what formats are best for sharing animated 480p clips / screenshots

I’m mostly just finding the clear menus and stuff just insanely visually noisy lol. How is this readable!
