I miss the times I could talk to my sister when I’m spiraling over something— anything, and she would actually be there. I don’t even bother anymore because I know how she sees me and my life and it’s like a version of me I can’t convince her otherwise of.

ever since I learned about three-cueing I've developed infinitely more patience for replies on social media. mfers literally do not know how to read. people are walking around conjuring random meanings into words they don't know, and they don't know a lot of words. it's crazy

It's not a joke.
Newspapers are set at about a grade 4 or 5 reading level, because that's all most people can read.
There are positive aspects, like information triage. Anything ya can't sum up for grade 4 readers = specialized knowledge.

I understand that resellers from thrift stores prob are helping with waste, but I wish they would do it for the goodwill bins or the last day sale of things. They always go early and grab the best items ;-; it feels ironic to ignore poor people wanting nice things

Since getting a kindle, I’ve been going down the rabbit hole. Libby sounds amazing but finding out I can connect it to the kindle is wonderful
