"We'll Prescribe You a Cat" by Syou Ishida (cute, easy read) and "Kindred" by Octavia Butler (amazing, painful to read but immensely satisfying). One of my favorite authors is Ursula K Leguin - The Dispossessed and Left Hand of Darkness are both in my all time favorite list

Also, your substack is really great! I read a few reviews, you really got me intrigued to read a few. I love books authored by woman, it's a different point of view indeed. The last two that I've read were both written by female authors.

To even understand them is difficult enough, congrats on that! And learning even more languages, I'm having trouble keeping up only with my English. Really wish I could have time to learn Spanish, I'd love to travel more around in South America

The verb tenses in portuguese are difficult to learn even for native speakers. I remember having portuguese classes as a kid and being confused about what the heck "futuro do pretérito" even meant. I mean, it's like future of the past? WTF
