#VeronicaLake, Barry Fitzgerald, and Joan Caulfield in The Sainted Sisters (1948, dir. William D. Russell) The second of two films Ronni and Caulfield co-starred, the two notoriously did not enjoy each other's company. However, I find that tension works to good effect in this film.

Don't have the funds to purchase/license the full vid (you can view it on getty images), from FDR's Birthday Bash at Birthday Ball at the Statler Hotel in DC in 1945. However, in this moment Danny Kaye saying "Ronni" certainly brought out a bit of "personality" from #VeronicaLake.

#VeronicaLake really loved that necklace. I wish I had more detail on the designer and where it went. So many of her possessions got scattered around with her moves and her generosity with her friends.
