Diane Keaton in her Manhattan apartment with Buster, an Abyssinian, photographed by Jill Krementz in 1977
black & white photograph of young Diane Keaton smiling and standing next to a white refrigerator in a barren-looking kitchen. her cat Buster is crouched on top of the fridge playing with/swatting her hair in the upper right hand corner. she's wearing a long skinny white scarf with a dot-grid pattern, a high-neck white blouse with an ascot/kerchief around the neck, and a black blazer/skirt or blazer dress over what looks like a vest

Nobody mentioning Looking For Mr Goodbar on these tributes. Never gets shown anywhere. It was a v brave and bleak film and it divided opinion but once seen never forgotten. And it was the first film to give disco nocturnal danger and edge.

Along with directing an episode of TWIN PEAKS, Diane Keaton also directed four movies (one doc, three features).

I’ve only seen two: HANGING UP and WILDFLOWER. They’re both flawed but interesting and make me wish she’s directed more films. I gotta track down the other two.

Once seen, never forgotten. The surrealist art design and creative visual effects are outstanding in this cult Japanese haunted #horror movie.

Every once in a while, something will happen to reveal just how many classic film fans have major issues. That “Academy museum is WOKE” piece is one such event.

I realized very quickly that some old movie fans are there because they LIKE the retrograde attitudes. Not all. Nowhere near all. But some
