Rest in peace, Drew Struzan. His movie posters are much more than marketing. They're some of the finest pop art you'll ever see. Look at this masterpiece:

Rose Byrne is so extraordinary. Can’t think of a single performance of hers I’ve not been in some way impressed by (even in the films I don’t like).

Anyhow, just saw IF I HAD LEGS I’D KICK YOU. Byrne is magnificent. I’m shook. Still not sure what I think of the film, but her? Wow. I’m speechless.

I think about that scene all the time. An early edit of my GOOD BOY review even called that out, but my editor thought no one would get the reference. This is so spot-on. 👍❤️

Hey y'all, I'm working on increasing my subscribers at my site (paid & free), so I thought I'd tease the next installments in my "One-and-Done" Slasher Series - 2 of the best horror movies released during the 2010s:

Can’t come up with something to say that does full justice to just how much Diane Keaton meant to me. A true iconoclast who somehow also seemed so down to earth and genuinely kind, this smart, fearless actor could do anything - and she could make it look so easy! She’ll be missed. 💔

WWII survival at sea thriller with a 20-foot Great White Shark lurking beneath the waves of the impenetrable nowhere of the Timor Sea? Yeah. That’s my kind of jam, and director Kiah Roache-Turner more than delivers the goods. It’s his best film yet. #BeastOfWar

Can’t say I’m shocked that I found #TronAres to be something of a mixed bag, as that’s how it seems to go with this series. Still liked it, though, even if it never delivers on its potential - much like its predecessors. 🤷‍♀️

And, yes, that NIN score is phenomenal. 🔥

Haven’t done this in awhile, but here are some new arrivals from the past few weeks (more like a month 🤷‍♀️😂). Long live physical media! 😁

So many legit great double bills, yet is it weird that my eyes went immediately to this triple? So goofy (and maybe even awful) - and I’d have loved every second. 😁🥰😂

Sending love and hugs and as much good vibes-ology as I can spare. Please take care of yourselves. That’s a lot to try and juggle and deal with. ❤️

It’s a historic venue. I have so many incredible filmgoing memories of my times there over my decades in Seattle. Heartbreaking. Sadly not surprising. Still heartbreaking. 💔 😢

BREAKING: The SIFF Egyptian, the historic and beloved Capitol Hill movie theater, will not be reopening. After decades of bringing movie magic to Seattle audiences, the space will now permanently conclude operations under SIFF 📽️
