Trump has sent the military into Illinois, same way he did in Portland, claiming it's war-ravaged. Hard to see how this doesn't lead to him declaring martial law. Don't get distracted: this is the end game. This is how he plans to stay in power after 2028.

Thanks everyone for sending so many great vegan recipes my way. It's so tough when someone is in palliative care and has little or no appetite, and when his caretaker is exhausted. I think I have enough recipes now to make them enough tasty food for a week ... thanks again.

I'm going to make a butternut squash apple soup; a chili with pumpkin, and a creamy butternut squash-shallot pasta with sage. I ran the menu by him ... it's so hard when someone has little to no appetite, and is in pain.
