An observation:

Some of the most creative individuals I've worked with have had the title "Engineer" or "Developer."

Some of the most structured and systematic thinkers I've met have had the title "Designer."

They both happen to be some of my favorite people to work with.

"Peiter, you have a choice. You can either do a 1,000 sh**ty projects in your career or you can do 10 great ones."

I’ve been feeling reflective lately and this advice from my college professor keeps bouncing around in my head.

"What can we remove?" <-- one of my favorite questions...

Works when reviewing designs, shaping products, refining processes, and navigating life.

Few things create clarity or focus like removing the noise.

What's one of your favorite questions?

I spend more time managing Apple's Focus modes than actually focusing.

What if focus mode just blocked everything except what you're using right now? No setup needed.

Who's building this? 😊 Who wants to build this?

Im seeing a lot of tools that turn designs into apps (
@figma.com -> lovable). But what about the other way around?

Generate high level flows and screens with a prompt then jump in to refine visually.

Anyone exploring this?

We can talk to computers, and they talk back. Mind-blowing.

Circa 2010, I worked on car voice systems that couldn’t even handle “Call Mom.”

We’ve come a long way, I'm excited for the next 15 years bring.
