this is WILD

i asked Claude to check a writer's article for plagiarism

it listed multiple examples + the sites it had plagiarised

so i asked for links to check for myself... and the AI admitted it just "made assumptions of plagiarism and stated them as facts"

It’s not that complicated — Trump & Vance are asking for the debt ceiling raise to be included in the deal now because they know their tax cuts for the rich will add to the debt again (which they don’t actually care about) and don’t want to hypocritically be the ones to raise it.

In case you were not there in early days of Twitter…

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO BLOCK LISTS.

It sounds like a great shortcut, but malicious actors come in and create lists that include folks from our side.

This was a huge problem in 2017 on Twitter.

Just block trolls as they hit your feed.

Trump apparently does not like it if you report that he won less than 50% of the vote, which is a fact

This is how most media feels now. From the streamed shows on services like Netflix and HBO, to YouTube content, even most podcasts. A way to fill the void of silence for a short time.

I get now why people can read 30+ books a year.
In Opinion

“The problem is not that Tyson-Paul was a bad fight,” writes Will Leitch, a contributing editor at New York Magazine. “The problem is that it became instantly disposable content, tossed away until the next empty calorie distraction replaces it.”
Opinion | Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Was a Calorie-Free Feast of Absurdity
The exhibition fight was always meant to be an empty spectacle. But in an attention economy, substance will never compete with overhyped emptiness.
