For me it’s simply a question of principle. If one accepts that certain groups of people can lose their citizenship while others cannot, one accepts the notion that there are different tiers of citizenship, and certain groups are not full citizens. The idea alone repels me on a very basic level.

Standing at the window waiting for kabooms does indeed seem to be the tone of my life recently. I think I need a better NYE routine.

I mean we don't have any option to opt out. So it's not adoption, it's colonisation. I'm not choosing to use AI when I search or when I use my phone. If it were a choice I'd say "no".
