I love how Gemini fanatically tries to tie every single thing you've ever ever asked about into a single convoluted knot, but if you specifically ask about something ten questions ago it hallucinates something random dumb and cliche.

One thing that drives me nuts about AI is that even in places where it could help, like complex questions in specific contexts, the more you dig the more hallucinations.

It's like a naive student doing research, but if you have followup questions a different student has to take over from notes.

Please airports, turn down your winter temperature! We’re all wearing jackets and moving bags around.

I was already going to vote against Brendan Boyle in next year’s primary, but a political call in the middle of a Phillies playoff game really seals the decision.

I'm never going back to xitter, but the way bluesky videos constantly freeze is incredibly frustrating and probably drives people away.

The NFL really needs ball tracking technology for coward progress calls.

Shower thought this morning. Toyota should bring back the Previa as a hybrid van. Give it a eAWD for gravel/camping roads, and a solar roof like the top trim prius. Maximize interior volume within a body that can go down narrow mountain roads. Build it in US to avoid the chicken tax.

Social Media apps really need rate limiting features reminding retired parents they don't need to like and comment on every single thing their kids post.

I'd like to see more politicians make the point that people vote, not maps.

The urban/rural divide makes it easy to pack and crack denser liberal populations, while creating a map that represents the partisan balance of a state might end up with funky districts.

This may take the prize for the dumbest spam text I’ve ever gotten. It came from a number outside Toronto.

FedEx is doing the thing again where they just park across the street, never get out of the van, and report a failed delivery

@septa-social.bsky.social what’s going on with the el? No trains either way at girard for 15+ minutes. Can see one inbound stopped toward berks.

The thing about Alcatraz is that where NY harbor has the Statue of Liberty, SF had a prison, and it’s an unintentional but fitting metaphor for the different attitudes towards European and Asian immigrants.

Our administration will stand for two things: Fighting antisemitism and stopping the Soros-funded, Hollywood-controlling, migration-orchestrating, well-poisoning, global banking cabal of rootless cosmopolitans from destroying our Christian way of life.

If you post AI slop, I’m reporting the post. Especially the recent stolen Ghibli art.

How does Apple Sports pick which games show for My Teams Upcoming Games?

It seems to show MLB a week out, but only 1 day out for NHL or MLS.

Fucking youtube is killing me with 20 minute long ads for random shit like drugs I'll never take. And because I only see them when I'm casting to my TV, there's no way to block/report.

So Etihad isn’t coming to PHL next year. Hopefully AA is working their butt off with their partners to add routes in 2026.
