I realized that I've never thought of Japan at my permanent home.
I have no particular plans to move somewhere else but I've always assumed at some level that I would one day move somewhere else.
But now, I'm wondering if I should change that way of thinking.

Is it in the closet? The shower? The fridge?
(It ended up being in the drying rack because my partner washed it for me. Probably the least likely place it could have been, honestly)

People try to dismiss being nonbinary as “just a phase”. For many of us, the phase is a lifetime long. But for others, it may be just aphase, as they explore and learn more about themselves. AND THAT IS PERFECTLY VALID!! People should be able to explore and experiment. Let them!

Today's round of eggs was fun. Len was upset about "messing up" his eggs but then we used those "messed up" eggs to make different kinds of designs with different kinds of techniques than just paint brushes.
Not only did we have fun but I hope he also learned to find opportunities in "failures."

My partner unpacks the suitcase pretty much as soon as we arrive back from a trip and it's REALLY overwhelming.
When do you usually unpack your suitcase after a trip?
I usually wait at the very least an hour, many times I just pull things out of it as I need them until it's empty.

The "special provision 36 Agreement" is complete and total BS! What is the point of having labor laws if a company can force employees to sign away their rights to reasonable working hours???

Listening to the address to congress yesterday has left me more shaken than I realized.
It hit home that a dictator will steal the rights, livelihood, and even lives of whole demographics of people and destroy the global economy to the cheers of some and the silence of the others...
