I've seen some people complain that Luke isn't serious-cool enough, but honestly, his overly rambunctious personality is more what I'd expect of a "positive" take on a "street fighter," whereas Ryu's serious, meditative composure is more of a, well, "martial artist" vibe. They ARE different.

Street Fighter 6 really leans into a more rough, casual vibe with street art a big part of its aesthetic (a stylistic element that's peeked through in the title-logo styling a few times but otherwise not really featured much).

It's occurred to me several times since playing the demo ages ago, but despite being called "Street Fighter," the Street Fighter series has never really focused in much on "street fighting" stylistically. Even the main character of the series looked like he's a formal dojo fighter.
