It’s not really about what a platform allows on it, it’s more about a lack of guidelines and communication. A platform as dominant as Steam needs to be able to communicate what is or isn’t allowed.

Since the limited technology of games back then left a lot more room for player interpretation, I think a lot of people didn’t realize how "anime" JRPGs have always been and act like this is somehow a modern JRPG thing.

It would seem like they think people do care about Metroid. That's why they'd use it as a way to drive people to the app. It will end up an Youtube eventually anyways.

There is no incorrect language used here. The use of additional clearly indicates that there is already some cost. This is about as clearly and transparently communicated as possible so I have no idea what point you’re tying to make here.

On Steam Deck anyways the texture is bad. Should be smooth instead.

Also omg being able to disable auto lock is such a huge improvement! Now they just need to allow me to throw as many Pikmin as I want at something instead of stoping me at the minimum and the game controls will be fully fixed.
