Hang in there. It’s really, really hard to grieve someone you cared about. So many thoughts get brought up. I’m sorry for your loss, and glad you’re finding some way/gaming to deal with it.

I played MC last night and my teenager joined MY world. It’s a creative and relaxing escape.

Winter Burrow was recommended for we winter lovers! NMS is cool with new corvettes (build your own mobile base). I recently realized NMS developers, Hello Games, made my favorite mobile game “Last Campfire” (not a comfort game, it’s kinda sad) but beautiful.

Right now, Winter Burrow. Such a sweet but touching game with pretty art and music. For me, comfort games have an element of base/shelter (haven to retreat to) and an easy gameplay loop. So, Minecraft (esp.because it’s multiplayer, No Man’s Sky, Skyrim. Also, Power Wash or solitaire for zoning out.

I no longer trust Idaho doctors. We’ve had very bad experiences lately. For example, we had an internal medicine surgeon make fun of my husband for consuming low fat dairy. He botched the surgery up too. Another: staff didn’t wear masks during Covid. Most of the good doctors have moved away.

I’m looking forward to collector gloves. Sequins, leather, dragon claws, Michael Jackson, Edward Scissorhand…
