I use Yaktrax Pro traction devices, they are dirt cheap in Europe at least. Better on compact snow than on ice but compared to spikes, they run ok on paved roads as well…

Haha thanks! I actually quite enjoy it, I lived in the moutains so this is - kind of - a strange luxury!😂
