I’ve shared on other platforms but wanna restate it. Check out your local library. A lot of them offer more than books like movies, video games and more. They also offer digital options that are free with your card and still supports them.

Just to make it crystal clear... Sci-fi and dystopian fiction were to be reflective and cautionary... not instruction manuals.

What use are books in these times? They are a mirror and a portal. They can light fires and extinguish doubts, feed hope and structure the most questioning minds. Remind us of our imaginations and pushing us step by daring step to imagine a juster world when all seems lost. They are of every use.

I was preparing to pitch an op-ed on the nationwide protests calling for President Yoon's resignation, aiming to provide global context amid the limited international coverage.

Given the urgency, I’m sharing it now. I didn’t expect events to escalate this quickly. #SouthKorea #Democracy

With politics swinging the way it is, we're prime for another video nasties era. 😬

We already have satanic panic back.

It would be fascinating to see how a video nasties list at state level would work with the internet and how they'd enforce it in the digital space.

The world turns in its beauty because of a small handful of people. Those who decide every day to do good. To reach out a hand. Open a door. The people who work at libraries, community centres, foodbanks. They hold us up and give us warmth and revitalise our humanity. Support them any way you can.

One of the best scenes in TV ever. The cinematography, the context of everything going on, showing the Marthas as the true underground resistance and hitting the notion that they underestimated the women they had violently subjugated in Gilead. Their strength. How they would look after each other.
