Good point. Karlaftis did have 8 sacks last year. Over the season, I hope he can meet or exceed that production. Not a great start though.

Karlaftis was close a couple times. As he tunes up and chases down QBs, maybe that'll draw some manpower away from Chris Jones. Or Karlaftis kicks into a higher gear this year and starts closing on those attempts.

Felt like a continuation of last season. Inefficient run game. No play-action, doesn't set up the deep passes. Weak defense when it counted. Offense relied on defense to save the game at the end. Jones-Tranquill beef wasn't a good look. Veatch wants a Super Bowl team on a bargain basement budget.

I understand that OTs are hard to come by but I'm sick of Jawaan Taylor. He is a penalty-prone liability that costs the Chiefs every year. He can't break his habit of jumping early and drawing a penalty. He doesn't have enough confidence or discipline to do his job consistently. He's gotta go.
