Software developer by day, accidental manager by night. Husband, dad, and treated like a minion by the dog.
She's staked her reputation on this one and doesn't seem to be capable of admitting that she's mistaken. There could have been a finessed version of this proposal which people found more palatable, but she's committed to doubling down on this. The only way this will go away is when she's removed.

I get that, I really do but honestly, this is one of the reasons I love my Apple Watch. If it's an Okta notification, it just pops up on my watch to approve. Absolutely beautiful.

We went to Barnard Castle last Saturday (genuinely). They have blue plaques to celebrate absolutely everything; if a fly farts twice, a blue plaque pops up. The SpecSavers there missed a trick; no plaque for Cummings. Oh, and the route he would have taken would have been terrifying with bad eyesight

This is 100% the case. One of the most successful software products of all time is Google search. A text box and a couple of buttons. What could be simpler for the user?

They aren’t sneaking. It’s blatant. And shop lifting is robbing. It’s seen as an easy way to steal stuff to sell on in order to buy drugs. My daughter deals with this abuse every day she’s at work. Perhaps you should try some shifts and see if it’s as funny as you seem to think it is.

It's not all about Trump. Violent shop-lifting is real, and is something that we hear about from people we know in local shops up and down the country. This is why staff have started to wear body cameras and are warned not to get involved.

My daughter works in a local co-op. She is abused by shop lifters on an almost daily basis; the threats of violence, and the verbal assaults on staff are unpunishable. She recently had someone grab a bunch of Vodka bottles and was threatened as they ran out the store.

I love the act of making music. There's something emotionally satisfying when you come up with a lick or riff that you like, and then you expand and connect it with other ideas for it to become something much more complex.

I have seen suggestions that there would need to be a universal income but there's not a lot of detail about what that would mean, and how it would work.

Perhaps the conversation we need to start having now is, how will societies evolve and adjust to an AI-centric world?

I've been doing the Samsung version of this. It's quite addictive.

I do. Quite a bit.

He showed real dignity and grace after his presidential defeat. His last 10 years were pure service.

The actors Tom Holland, and Tom Hollander implies there's a Tom Hollandest. If they were Dutch, that would be perfect.

Rees-Mogg always came across as the owner of a work-house disappointed that the supply of orphans dried up.

Can't wait for the new series. I was late to the show and fell in love with it. My daughter bought me a Trent Crimm: Independent mug for Christmas and it makes me chuckle every time I use it.

If VDU 23 didn't get you excited, you're way to young to remember this. We had the BBC B and this beautiful baby. The Nimbus was overshadowed by the Beeb, but it was a great machine.
