What’s the over/under on Linda Yaccarino’s departure? She’s theoretically the CEO but changes to the platform are announced by someone else. She’s a competent executive and the sooner she fires her CTO and tells the majority owner to sit down and shut up (the same guy) the better.

What’s the over/under on Linda Yaccarino’s departure? She’s theoretically the CEO but changes to the platform are announced by someone else. She’s a competent executive and the sooner she fires her CTO and tells the majority owner to sit down and shut up (the same guy) the better.
Linda’s first week should include firing her head of product and technology and finding a new CTO and a new CPO. Just a thought, but a part of the job criteria should be that candidates aren’t working six other jobs or leading three other companies. Might be a baseline requirement for these jobs.
It’s a tough job when your head of tech and product reports to you, but you report to them too! What could possibly go wrong with that?
Could be totally off base here, but Twitter 2.0’s mission of becoming “the world’s most accurate real-time information source” might go better if they hadn’t just spent 6 months ripping out literally all the technology, policies, and teams required to do that.
