Hardly - opened in 1875, this large station still has 7 platforms, some sub-divided. In the 1960s it was the gateway to North Wales, with six signal boxes! Even now, it connects to Manchester (including airport) Liverpool, Wrexham, Holyhead, Crewe and all points to London.

Never come across Nahvalur here in the UK; fell out with Parker about 50 years ago, well before they moved to France. I rather like Waterman (part of the same conglomerate now), though.
