Before I moved West my knowledge of Los Angeles as a living, breathing city came almost entirely from Avellino and Martino’s separate blogs. This is a good watch.

I'm the wrong person to ask about this but I had the impression that the '70s stuff, The Devils aside, was pretty much out there on disc/streaming/TCM airings. Once it moves into the '80s and they're not from major studios it gets iffier I imagine due to rights issues.

My first thought is start with Stagecoach, then move onto other Ford/Hawks/Wayne, from there go to Boetticher and Anthony Mann/Jimmy Stewart, then Magnificent 7 plus maybe 60s Wayne like True Grit, then the Leones, then Butch Cassidy and '70s Clint. Then on week 2...:)

Hey, All, I’m five days away from a charity walk that I am the chairperson of, raising funds and awareness for an autoimmune disease I have.

If I raise $30, I help patients like myself, but I also get a sweet fanny pack as a reward.

In honor of Walter Matthau’s birthday, I felt I should bring this over from the other place.
