Same hollow promises of Brexit in the UK. the majority of these are simply "rollovers" - meaning they copied the terms of deals the UK previously had when it was an EU member

Nationwide still have a veneer of some mutuality. It has also stated it will keep branches (for now). Also has all the right ethical policies, scores well. It used to be the co-op until they mis-hired & took on breathtakingly value-destructive acquisitions.

Exactly so much damage needs to be undone it's generational It was wilful damage so mending relations with the EU is a no brainer small step. Where are they now the elites PMordant tobacco vote abstainer is now a tobacco adviser - really.The others have gone off unaffected to be wealthier elsewhere.

My dad was Welsh and spoke no welsh.Ironically he married a Yorkshire woman and both made sure that neither myself or my sister had a local accent. So you end up speaking a sort of non place English.

Very powerful testament. The forces of denial are so powerful, cultural, political and institutional. We must learn to condemn the perpetrators, their denial and give voice to the victims.

Heard and McDonald islands featured in a list released by the White House of “countries” that would have new trade tariffs imposed. A group of barren, uninhabited volcanic islands near Antarctica, covered in glaciers and home to penguins. Nowhere is safe from a tariff.
