Temperatures in seas around the UK have soared to 4C warmer than normal are unprecedented leading to widespread biological impacts
This is phenomenal.

Sea surface temperatures are >5C above average to the west of the UK and around Iceland. It's the strongest area of anomalous warmth on the planet at the moment.

It's the warmest in recorded history for northwest Europe.

Language is really important & Europe needs unity in this world order, closer ties & what is currently being understood = power. Uk not helped by Brexit in its outlier status

A shame Prince Charles Cinema closure. When visiting London have seen cult classic films here. Including Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer - not a favourite but was memorable for the gentleman sat alone the row infront in the dark wearing sunglasses throughout.

80 years ago today January 27, 1945 Auschwitz was liberated. Remembering fascism, its violence, seems more important today than at ay other time I can remember. The largest Holocaust archive goes online today.

Accepting a pardon would only insult the Capitol police officers, rule of law and, of course, our nation. I pleaded guilty because I was guilty, and accepting a pardon also would serve to contribute to their gaslighting and false narrative.

Had the misfortune to visit A&E recently (totally admire the staff) but it's like a war zone. I saw a nurse stationed in a corridor triaging patients from ambulances - overwhelmed, & patients in corridors. This is the new reality of care & 'corridor care nurses'?!?
