Spitballing my top Bobby songs, Estimated Prophet, Cassidy, Sugar Magnolia, One More Saturday Night, Playing in the Band, Jack Straw, The Other One, Looks Like Rain, Hell in a Bucket and any Bob Dylan song he sang, would put When I Paint my Masterpiece at the top of that list.

Music, particularly live music touches my soul and spirit like nothing else. Feeling a lot of sadness with the passing of Bobby. It’s intensified by the awareness of the magic of all the moments shared by so many.

It’s college application season for high school seniors. Hearing kids talk about their “safety” schools reminds me that everyone should know how awesome of a song Safety Dance is.

The thing that bothers me so much is not the “we have to enforce our borders and laws.” We do.

So many Democrats are pissed that the Democratic Party hasn’t provided much of a resistance. I’m not happy about them, but I am pissed at the feckless Republicans who know better but lack the courage and empathy to do the right thing. Dems don’t have the numbers, Republicans don’t have the spine.
