i am happy to be getting married and i am spending money on things that i am excited to see, it's not a waste. it's just been a long year full of financial hardships since i got laid off, so i am ready to have some breathing room

Looking in advanced settings, all audio tracks are checked and ive got my card set to monitor and output. Am I missing anything? I'm hearing the playback and seeing the audio levels in OBS, but still no audio in my recordings

the best piece of advice i received when starting out as a writer is to develop a strong sense of taste and to stick to it. this sort of "not for me"-speak that so many of us writing about games feel the need to do dulls our critical voices!

respectfully: no. develop your own taste, absolutely, but own it. it's fine to think that popular thing is bad. it's fine to not have an opinion too, but i see statements like this one all the time and i just want to push back a bit: there's nothing wrong with having the courage of your convictions.

i totally get that, I do the same thing all the time before I remember that there are other things to keep track of. that said, i'm in my 20s with no underlying health issues and super active physically, and i haven't noticed any problems with eating this as a lunch consistently 🤷

Wait wait wait yeah dont get me wrong, this is absolutely not healthy, but it is a decent way for me to eat something I like while being where I want to be calorically for the day

I'm getting married later this year and so I'm trying to slim down a little and ive found eating these turkey dogs with these carb friendly buns to be a really easy way to keep calories low at lunch while still eating something I like! Two dogs on two buns is 300 calories!
