On X there used to be some people that were monitoring Powerful Owls in Brisbane. They didn't say where to protect the owls but I think it was out Ashgrove/ The Gap way. I remember seeing some of their photos with a poor ringtail that had been caught. It's the circle of life but hard ... 😢

They are opportunistic feeders. 😊 If it takes their fancy, they will give it a go. Particularly the brushtails. I've found ringtails a bit more picky.

Possum Update: All good tonight. Chewie the brushtail has been in the eaves tray today & is eating there. The others are on the deck ready to have a snack. The ringtail mum and joey have already been down. #possums #mammals

Possum Update: Dinner time is underway. The two ringtails were waiting for me and Mr Ratty was not far behind. Chewie the #brushtail #possum arrived a little late but all good. #mammals

Possum Update: Back home again after going to Melbourne for the AFL GF. 🦁 Chewie the brushtail was in the eaves tray. The others showed up after I visited Coles and got some human & possum supplies. Happy campers. #possums #mammals

It was very even to half time but with Lachie Neale substituted in at half time it was enough to shift the momentum. It escalated from there with Geelongs forwards ineffective. It was a good day for Lions fans. 🦁 They beat a great team.

You are correct. On a tour you pass a section where they have preserved some of the historical members gates. This was one piece that I thought looked interesting to photograph. It has been damp and cool but plenty to do.

Tylenol wasn’t widely used until the 1950s.

Possum Update: It's all action tonight. Barney and Chewie (brushtails) and the ringtails (mother and joey) plus Mr Ratty all enjoying some dinner. Chewie was in the eaves tray today. All happy.

Possum Update: Ringtail dinner time. These 2 were waiting for me tonight. Mt Ratty is also there but coming and going. Dinner is sweet potato, apple, banana and raw oats. No brushtails tonight so far.
