I forgot the ABQ Sunport would be a zoo last night picking up my wife. I've never waited almost on Yale to get to the arrivals level! At least it didn't take a long time. Still crazy.

There is a band called "best kissers in the world" and it's a 10/10 band name. Haha.

I was able to spot a Tragically Hip song in the wild- very exciting. Am I Canadian now?

For the evening crowd: I had a huge pinball weekend last weekend. I played three tournaments in three days in three different cities. That was a lot of driving and not a lot of sleep.

FIFA getting Michael buffer, the boxing announcer, to say "let's get ready to rumble" on the field while the players are waiting for the kickoff is peak FIFA.

I only recently realized how weird it is for me to know Northern NM girl group Sparx, and not hear of the band Sparks until fairly recently haha.

Most Underworld songs sound similar to each other, but they also get me super hyped haha.

I didn't think watching Fatboy Slim do a DJ set on that YouTube channel where they play in an elevator and people come out to dance every couple minutes would make my day better. But here we are.

I haven't had to deal with Tottenham being this bad in the 15 years I've been a spurs supporter.

RIP Roy Ayers. One time @fbihop.press and I were eating at a restaurant where a DJ was playing, and I spotted a Roy Ayers song from my years of absorbing him through hip hop samples, etc.

The vibraphonist, composer and jazz-funk pioneer helped inspire the neo-soul movement, and his best-known song was sampled over 100 times.

If you have Elliot Smith's "needle in the hay" in your head, you're having a great day right?

KEXP is playing Duran Duran's 'the chauffeur'. Do I like Duran Duran now?

I realized I'm a small minority of music lovers who didn't know who Sparks was, but grew up in NM and thought the only group with that name was regional NM girl group Sparx.

I'm trying to listen to albums more. I have already listened to Bad Bunny's new one, and Wilco's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. I'm trying to think of a good 90s backpack/boom bap album.
Any ideas?

A guy roughly in his fifties was jamming out in his car to Devo while eating a bagel sandwich, and I was so jealous at how happy he looked.

I know I'm old when I saw a cheerleading team on the Thanksgiving parade and thought how do you plan anything with a group that big. And when I found out it's 600 people I almost died.
