Neurodivergence related access in work is intimately bound up with the norms of communication. This includes subtle things relating to enforcement of style, pacing, neuronormative email etiquette, and so on. I think this often gets overlooked in favour of a focus on less subtle things.

My third PhD study has been published and is currently available OA, just in time for submitting my thesis 🎉🤸

I love how R can make you feel like you're in the verge of becoming a coding matrix genius one minute and a human equivalent of a dyslexic blob the next

Is it normal to cry over your laptop in the last month of your PhD? (usually people joking say "I'm asking for a friend", but I'm really autistic/socially anxious and so I have no friends) 💀

After seeing your talk at ICED, I have been praying for the opportunity to somehow have a citation. YOU'VE BLOODY DONE IT!! Stunning piece of work – congratulations 😘

To my fellow AuDHDers, I would like to incorporate some PPI into the development of my grant proposal. While I do not have the funds to reimburse you, having your input would be a huge help in pursuing this important work!

If interested, DM or email me at [email protected]

Ok, sure. But what about the Troubles in Northern Ireland and the IRA and the invasion of the soviet union in Afghanistan and the rise of the Taliban? See a trend here? Make-up, my arse 💀

Tl;dr. White working-class women’s body image is rooted in appearance norms, rather than appearance ideals (they are conceptually different).

Super important to consider intersectionality of class x gender
