Mateo is quite the helper with laundry
A blond cocker spaniel is lying on the bed while human tries to strip the bed. The headboard and mattress pad show at the top. The dog is lying on the quilt and has been covered by the half-removed fitted sheet which covers his head so only one eye, both ears and front paws show. He doesn’t care and isn’t moving.

I blame lots of seasick meds, but I miscounted when I posted yesterday- Dry Tortugas was my 4th nat’l park this year!

Happily this egret was not a Thanksgiving gator snack- he submerged and went for it but the egret’s spidey senses won. #Everglades

Low tide this morning made for a smelly walk for humans but a good bird breakfast buffet.

Hillsborough County’s hiking spree season started on the 1st. Got out there this morning w/Mateo for the first qualifying hike- he’s always ready to go go go! It’s an equestrian park but we didn’t pass any horses today, just 💩

If you’re into rollicking action pop fiction, I listened to this on my 🚗🛣️ this month. They worked lots of NP’s into 1 plot! Apparently there’s a 2nd one already in the “National Parks thriller” so I’ll save it for next trip.
