I am very excited that the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury will be Sarah Mullally. I have known Sarah since my election to the General Synod in 2021. Sarah is the first woman to hold this role within the Church of England. She will be great for our national Church and the Anglican Communion.

Horrified by plans for compulsory digital ID cards. This undermines civil liberties. Comparisons such as Estonia, where there is more trust in public institutions, are invalid. What if the next government is more authoritarian than Labour? Furthermore, not in the 2024 election manifesto. #DigitalID
