Desmond Bane scores a season-high-tying 37 points and makes 6 of 9 from three. That helped the #Magic erase an early 15-0 deficit. Complete defensive control and great shotmaking from there. The #Magic defeat the #Heat 117-108.

Everyone will be watching the injury reports for the next few days. Franz Wagner left in the first quarter with a lower left leg injury after an awkward fall.

Bam Adebayo's shot at the buzzer is no good. Great defense on the last three tries for the Heat.

Paolo Banchero returned to score nine points in about 20 minutes tonight. The #Magic needed every one of them. 32 from Franz Wagner helped them hold off the #Heat 106-105:

Anthony Black with an inbound to Franz Wagner directly in the post. He gets a look but Luke Kornet comes out and blocks the shot out of bounds as time expires. #Magic started too late tonight and fall to the #Spurs 114-112.

The #Magic set a franchise record for most points in a quarter and a half. They came out in the third quarter and only squeezed the #Sixers more. They opened up as much as a 46-point lead. They put themselves in a great spot to advance in the NBA Cup.

The #Magic's deep bench made an inspired rally, cutting a 26-point lead down to six. But the #Celtics hold them off 138-129. Jett Howard scores 30 points to lead the Magic. Jase Richardson had 18. Desmond Bane with 18 and Franz Wagner with 15.

A gutsy effort for the #Magic tonight. Played with a lot of energy and determination on defense. They did not let the Stephen Curry gravity get to them and stuck to their game plan. A really nice home win in the end. Anthony Black has 21. Desmond Bane has 23. #Magic win 121-113.

Maybe this is an announcement that the #Magic are going to be a factor in the East like we all thought. Maybe they caught the #Knicks on a weird night.

It is impressive nonetheless. The Magic stifled the Knicks all night and moved the ball well.

Still some things to build on for the #Magic. But they let this one slip away. 17 turnovers for 29 #Celtics points. Boston went 13 for 33 from three and the Magic 7 for 30. That is your ball game.

The #Magic finish their road trip 2-3 and fall to 3-5. A frustrating end after the team felt some optimism. #Hawks win 127-112. Orlando asking themselves a lot of questions again. Could be a costly loss with the Hawks now up 2-0 in the season series.

The #Magic played well enough that they could cruise through the fourth quarter. Good minutes from Goga Bitadze especially in the final quarter.

But the #Magic did the job early with Paolo and Franz dominating the first half. Led by as much as 30. Magic defeat the Wizards 125-94

Everybody breathe.

The #Magic with a strong defensive game and took care of business in a game they needed desperately. Paolo with 20-9-9, Franz with 21, AB with 20. #Magic looked like themselves.

Charlotte and Washington are both much better than they were last year. But those feel like must-win games right now.

The #Magic's defense collapsed after the first quarter and no-showed in the second half again.

#Pistons win 135-116. Frustrating to say the least.

The #Magic found their offense. But their defense betrayed them. A really poor and unfocused effort for 2.5 quarters. They played well in the final quarter and a half. But the hill was too tall to climb. Never found their defense. #Sixers win 136-124.

Another frustrating home loss for the #Magic. They struggled to find their range and the offense was stuck completely in the mud. Team looked frustrated and very out of sync. #Bulls come to town and take a 110-98 victory.

Wasn't as pretty as I'm sure everyone would have wanted. There is still a lot to clean up.

But in gut check time, the #Magic got the win. A lot to be proud of.

The #Magic finish with a perfect preseason, defeating the #Pelicans 132-125. Lots of fun movement but a lack of concentration in the second half. Magic get the win. It counts on Wednesday!
