Curious how little attention Thames water is getting, particularly as it's only got 5 weeks of money left and serves 16 million people with clean water?

Not convinced our green-led council have got this quite right. Lots of concern about equalities impact. Would make more sense to scrap collections entirely and move towards community waste centres like in France.
Bristol may become first English council to collect black bins every four weeks
Green-led authority consulting on changes it says could save £2m and encourage recycling – critics fear it will increase fly-tipping

One of the great mysteries of the rail network is how it costs 95p to get to Bristol temple meads but £3.30 to bedminster, a distance of about 1.1 miles. Does anyone understand this? @gwr.com

Kind of feels like the elephant in the room that no one is linking the UK's relatively high sickness rate to the raising of the pension age to 67. Need more focus on over 50s rather than young people.
